BOSTON CHAPTER SUPPORTS MEMBERS’ WORK WITH HAITIAN RELIEF ORGANIZATIONS Chapter Makes Contributions to Partners in Health, The Salvation Army and St. Boniface Haiti Foundation BOSTON, January 21, 2010 -- The Boston Chapter of Financial Executives International today announced that it will be contributing $6,000 to relief groups in Haiti. James Tracy, Chapter President, said, “We have several FEI members who are actively working to alleviate the disastrous conditions in Haiti, and we want to show our support for them. These members include the CFO of Partners in Health, an organization that works to bring modern medical care to poor communities in nine countries around the world; a long-time consultant to the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation, which operates a hospital in Haiti; and a personal volunteer with The Salvation Army, among others.” Tracy continued, “Our chapter’s contribution will be split equally among these three groups. Links to these groups are posted on our web site, www.feiboston.org, and we encourage our members and partners to support these organizations with their own generous contributions.” To contribute to these organizations please click on the following links: Partners in Health – http://www.standwithhaiti.org/haiti Salvation Army - http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/www_usn_2.nsf St. Boniface Haiti Foundation - http://www.haitihealth.org/ [ Read More ]
