Paradigm Shift - How to Achieve Your Career Goals

Do you want to reach new levels of achievement in your career? Or perhaps you want to dramatically improve your results in a job search? Do you want to improve your habits, productivity and profits?

Most people are getting the same results – year in, year out. That’s because of paradigms. What are they? Paradigms are a multitude of habits. They guide almost every move you make in work and life.

Join Stephanie Hessler, MBA, Career, Leadership and Success Coach, and Thinking Into Results Consultant. Come prepared to understand your paradigms and shift to new ones so you can achieve your career and life goals. You will learn:

• Why it’s vital to understand your paradigms. Paradigms are multitudes of habits - at a subconscious level - that have almost exclusive control over your habitual behavior.

• How to use your mind in service of achieving your career goals. You must understand your mind in order to create new paradigms that support you in reaching new levels of achievement in career and life.

• Why it's important to have clarity around what you really want to achieve. Establishing clear goals is the most critical step toward creating the results that you want.

• How you go from where you are to where you want to be – Learn how to reprogram your paradigms. That's where your next level of achievement starts, in career and life!

"...A paradigm shift is when you change from one set of rules to another.” –Joel A. Barker, Author of Paradigms

 Here Is What You Missed

2020 January Career Management: "Paradigm Shift – How to achieve your career goals" - Stephanie Hessler.

January 7th

Key message: focus on your “mind” – “body” – “results”. Success is not what you want – instead what you believe (mental programming). Goal setting is critical to help focus what you believe.

The primary elements on your paradigm shift / personal transformation journey are (1) your mental paradigm (2) understanding your mindset and (3) tools to consider.
Starting point is to ask yourself “are you playing it too safe”?

Recommend you challenge yourself to really “think” about:
- Are your thoughts constructive? What do you really want? Are you inspired?
- What is your mental paradigm? - it is about “you” – do you need to change it?
- Turning your frustration into your success journey (are you stuck?)

But first, you must understand yourself, keeping in mind life happens from the inside out! In other words, through each of us, not at us. It begins in our minds – control it – work with it not against it!

Think / visualize yourself as the person who has achieved the “what” / end result career goal – that you have already reached your career goal (not the how) – this is critical to begin your paradigm shift. Most of our actions are automatic / second nature (e.g. driving a car). You must learn to use your mind / thinking effectively – can be an important game changer on your journey. Thinking is an activity / frequency / energy.

Then identify the “things” are getting in the way – it might be you.

What happens when you “hit” a wall? Do you revert back to the old paradigm / old habits / old thinking / your “safe” place when you receive negative feedback or encounter turbulence?

Tools include controlling your emotions and repetition / rehearsal to learn every day – shift habits to align with the new paradigm – mental image. Write the script for the person you want to become then choose to move into your “character” – choose to be that person.

The choice is up to you – conscious and unconscious thinking – real and imagined – accept or reject your current mental paradigm – is it the truth!
