Bill Welch, Director, Finance, Delaware Life Insurance

Bill is the Co-Chair of the Membership & Involvement Committee and also organizes the volunteer programs for FEI Boston. He works as Director, Finance for the Delaware Life Insurance Company in Waltham. Outside of work, Bill volunteers each week at the Bayberry Assisted Living Center in Tewksbury, is a mentor in the Read to a Child Program and currently servers as the President of the Tewksbury Community Pantry which provides food assistance to approximately 140 families in need each month.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff Rinkov, CEO, Lee & Associates

Jeffrey Rinkov, who has been with Lee & Associates® since 1995, is currently the CEO and chairman of the board. Since his tenure began with Lee, Jeff has been largely instrumental in the firm’s development of technology and communications infrastructure and has been one of Lee’s leading figures in the expansion of Lee’s presence on the national level. A specialist in the representation of industrial properties, property owners, tenants and buyers in the leasing and sale of Central Market industrial properties, Jeff’s primary focus is on properties in the Central Los Angeles/Downtown industrial market including Commerce and industrial properties in Vernon and surrounding cities with high industrial concentrations.

 

 

 

 

Jason Yang, Ph.D., Head of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the Center for Emerging and Re-Emerging Pathogens, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School

Jason H. Yang, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor and Chancellor Scholar in the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics and in the Center for Emerging and Re- Emerging Pathogens at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia, where he trained with Dr. Jeffrey Saucerman, studying beta-adrenergic signaling in cardiac myocytes. He completed his postdoctoral training with Dr. James Collins at MIT and the Broad Institute, studying metabolic mechanisms of antibiotic-induced bacterial death physiology. Dr. Yang is the recipient of a K99/R00 Career Development Award from the National Institutes of Health to investigate the effects of host metabolic variation on antibiotic efficacy.

Dr. Yang leads a systems biology research group, where they are developing approaches that integrate high-throughput experimentation with network modeling and machine learning to accelerate the discovery of molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis and treatment of chronic and infectious diseases.

 

 

 

Eric Solem, Moderator, Lee & Associates Boston

Eric Solem is a Managing Principal and President of the Boston office of Lee & Associates. Eric is an experienced tenant representation and corporate real estate advisory services professional with over two decades of experience as a trusted advisor for business strategy and operational improvement for corporate clients. Eric grew up in California, Utah and Colorado. After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Eric completed pilot training and instructor pilot training as a distinguished graduate flying jets in the United States Air Force as an instructor pilot. Eric moved to Boston in 1994 to attend graduate school, and now lives in Chestnut Hill, MA, where he currently resides with his wife and family. Eric enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, being outdoors, playing golf and exercising.
